Imaginary Dialogue, Kumamoto

(we left our shadows at Kumamoto Castle...)

J: Do you ever think about eternity?
K: I agree with Thoreau,
'You cannot kill time without injuring eternity.'
But why do you ask?
J: If I can't be with you in this lifetime, I want to be with you in eternity.

This is a poem! Complete. Beautiful. And full of longing!
