This collection of poetry and prose is an excellent collection (if I must say so myself!) by the editors T. Graham Westerlund and Stephan Chiarantano, who write in the introduction that the issue "welcomes a new roster of writers from the novice to the accomplished, and everything in between, and from diverse parts of the globe...Volume II has confirmed that Japan continues to fascinate, resonate, and touch people on many levels...The poetry and prose...explores aesthetics, perceptions, identity, nature, relationships, culture and desire..."
I am making "Things Japanese II" (recently out and available at Amazon.com) famous for this month by posting it (at right) as Aikawarazu Book of the Month!

Congratulations! That's great news!
Congratulations! We saw Mt Fuji playing a board game:)
Congratulations! A gazillion years ago, when I studied Japanese, I too visited Mt. Fuji. As you may know, there are no mountains in the Netherlands, only a few oversized hills. So for days, I marvelled at the fact that this massive mountain on a clear day could even be seen from the suburbs, miles away. I remember I felt like Alice in Wonderland during my stays in Japan - it was confusing, but in a good sense.
WOW!

PS April, I didn't know this book you mentioned,or the performance, thank you, will check it out, and about Mt. Fuji saw it full view and snow-capped once when in an area near there; & once from a train, and many times from the plane, always different, often mysterious and always magical.
