notes from today

I got to Hikari machi.
There was only a blind man
to ask my way.
I smiled and walked in the direction of
the light.

Yuki (1)

I'd paint the sky blue
and give it to you

All light teach lines

Beneath the half moon,
sharing a blueberry
chocolate
with her.

(Beppu, 12/4)

Yuki (2)

Moonlight bounces down
Onto asphalt ground.
Yuki-white clouds
clear the sky
Yes I can' write
this bouncy fluffy moving light
The sun and moon are dancing before my eyes
and you are a laugh
in my heart

Beppu, 12/4

Yuki (3)
I'm sorry
now I cry
as I kneel beneath this sky
The view is everything I see
and I this tear
a taste
of me.

Beppu 12/4

Two black birds and one half moon,
If I don't get to the onsen soon
I'll be late for my little
big girl.

I completely see
the moon dust
snow.

17:17

Looking out over the sea
Feeling life's
a mystery

Watch a boat who passes by
1/2 way between sea and sky
1/2 moon
called me to the bath

1/2 moon
1/2 moon
half moon
Half

Passing Sails

Sugoi, moon
It's all
sugoi

Passing Waves

Danger
is always the way
to safe shores

(still, I miss you)

Y0u-me town (1)

Molasses and
marshmallow
then
the bus
home

You-me town (2)

They didn't have molasses
got a daikon instead
and a local fresh
green brocolli head

The marshmallows white and perfectly fluffy
bring me back to yuki and the clouds.

Anyway it's now now and
they're nicely on top of my towel in the onsen wicker bag.

Dark sky and a no smoking sign
passing Beppu Bay.

Tamago sails and
tiny lights

I'll end these poems
as it turns night

wow! just wow! even not knowing the Japanese nouns - wow! they stand along and together they read like - well, pure poetry. Seriously, I love these, alone, and collectively.
